Community trees and forests provide much more than beauty to our urban and suburban landscapes. Trees and forests are a critical part of a community's "Green Infrastructure" that must be planned for and properly managed. Join the daylong conference that explores the importance of establishing and protecting green infrastructure in our communities. Registration deadline is August 16. This conference qualifies for 5.5 PCH CEUs.

Join the Pennsylvania Community Forestry Council, DCNR Bureau of Forestry, and Penn State Extension for a daylong conference that explores the importance of establishing and protecting green infrastructure in our communities. Learn how green infrastructure can improve the quality of life in your community while saving money. If you are a municipal forester, member of a shade tree commission or environmental advisory committee, community planner, commercial arborist, environmental consultant, or an advocate for community trees, make it a point to attend this annual conference and tour of Green Infrastructure in State College.
