Join Tim Abbey, York County Commercial Horticulture Educator, to discuss problems encountered on ornamental plants in landscapes.
Walk will be held rain or shine so please dress appropriately. Participants should meet in in the parking lot near the Playground Field promptly at 1:00 pm.

Topics to be covered:

  • Insect pest identification
  • Beneficial insect identification
  • Pest monitoring
  • IPM strategies for management, including chemical and non-chemical options.

Pesticide credits will be given for the following:

  • Category PC Private Category: 4 Credits
  • Category 06 Ornamental & Shade Trees: 4 Credits
  • Category 18 Demonstration & Research: 4 Credits
  • Category 23 Park/School Pest Control: 4 Credits

This course qualifies for 2 PCH CEUs.
