This session focuses on pruning small trees and shrubs, including training young shade trees. It is geared toward landscape professionals who care for a variety of plants in the landscapes they manage.

We will start in the classroom with an introduction to plant structure and growth as it relates to pruning, as well as proper use of tools. Then we will head outdoors for hands-on pruning experience.
