On this tour, students will become familiar with and discover the importance of the native plants featured on the green roof, and see an example of permaculture in action as they explore how the space functions, captures water for reuse, and is sustainably maintained.

On this tour, students will become familiar with and discover the importance of the native plants featured on the green roof, and see an example of permaculture in action as they explore how the space functions, captures water for reuse, and is sustainably maintained. Participants will also have the chance to observe plant and animal interactions, and find out more about beneficial insects and symbiotic relationships.

This course qualifies for 1.5 PCH CEUs.
