Some of your customers' most beloved flowering plants are in this group. Broad-leaved evergreens provide winter interest in otherwise stark landscapes. Learn to identify these plants and understand their site requirements to help them thrive in your job sites. We will emphasize industry standard cultivars.

This course is for all persons involved in the green industry including landscapers, nursery operators, garden center employees, etc. No prior study of woody ornamental plants is required.

The workshop will consist of classroom time and field study if the weather permits, so please dress appropriately!

The instructor is Dr. David Sanford, Associate Professor of Horticulture, Penn State University. The cost is $55 which includes lunch and handouts.
