Conifers provide the structural framework for many gardens, serving a variety of roles as specimens, focal points, screens, hedges and backdrops. They offer bold contrasts of foliage, color and texture as well as distinctive growth habits. This course includes six hours of in-depth training on evergreen identification and usage. Conifers provide the structural framework for many gardens, serving a variety of roles as specimens, focal points, screens, hedges and backdrops. They offer bold contrasts of foliage, color and texture as well as distinctive growth habits. This course includes six hours of in-depth training on evergreen identification and usage.

Participants will receive a full color guidebook detailing the 39 species of evergreens discussed. This class has been developed for the Master Gardener Advanced Certificate Program and is appropriate for nursery and landscape professionals. This class qualifies for landscape architecture, certified arborist and PCH CEUs.
