You are invited to an upcoming green infrastructure maintenance workshop which will provide an excellent opportunity for your staff to learn about the maintenance necessary to ensure the performance of rain gardens, green roofs, and pervious concrete and asphalt and permeable pavers in properly managing stormwater. Green infrastructure is being implemented on an increasing scale in the Pittsburgh region, and it’s important that those responsible for maintaining GI are properly trained.

This technical workshop will provide both classroom instruction and an on-site tour and practicum session utilizing the rain garden, green roof and porous pavement installations at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
