Your garden is a critical piece of an ecosystem that supports wildlife, provides important food webs, and contributes to clean water and healthy soil. Through lectures, on-site walks, and outdoor activities, learn how to incorporate basic ecological principles into designed landscapes and link your yard with surrounding plant and animal communities. Leave with a suite of ecofriendly tools to be a more sustainable gardener, reduce maintenance costs, and work in harmony with nature to improve vitally important habitats. Bring your lunch.

Rain date for this course is Thursday, September 28, 2017.

Qualifies for 4 PCH CEUs.
