Properly managed and controlled burns not only shape desired plant communities, they also establish favorable conditions for wildlife and create biologically diverse habitats. Learn how frequent, low-intensity fires influence many ecological processes, and experience a live prescribed burn (weather dependent) on Mt. Cuba Center’s property. Dress for the weather.
