Meeting the Water needs of Landscape Trees

When: Tuesday, July 19th
12 noon - 1 pm
United States
Scott A. Sjolander

Phone: 814-350-7749

Public trees provide a welcome respite from those hot summer days. However, as tree managers, we see many wonderful landscapes fail for lack of needed water.
Join us as we present the best practices in providing supplemental water with least waste. We will take it a bit further as we estimate the amount of water a planting space can hold in reserve.
See the significance that good design makes in whether a landscape succeeds or fails. Sjolander is an International Society of Arboriculture Board Certified Master Arborist and Utility Specialist with Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. He serves as Extension Urban Forester based in northwest Pennsylvania for the past twenty years.
