Beyond azaleas and rhododendrons, native shrubs offer a tremendous variety of spring bloom. Come learn about the diversity of shrubs available for the landscape, how to identify them and where to plant them.

To Be Covered
Identification, seasons of interest, cultural needs, common pests, and availability will be discussed. Invasive plant identification and management will also be addressed.

This program takes place on the trails of Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. Participants are asked to dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for rugged trails.

2 PCH CEUs are available for attendance.
