2014 Awards for Landscape Excellence (ALE)

S2WHARRISBURG - Awards, certifications and other forms of recognition of exceptional knowledge and expertise go a long way towards distinguishing you and your company amongst the many companies and individuals out there who are doing the same thing you’re doing – just not as well! 

Click here for more information about the ALE program and to see samples of past projects. So much has been happening with the Awards for Landscape Excellence program this year! An ALE focus group consisting of current and past ALE participants, PLNA board members and staff met last fall to dig deeper and find more ways to add value to this already prestigious awards program.  Many ideas and program enhancements came from this meeting and are being implemented for the 2014 program.

A few of the highlights are:

  • ALE projects being showcased on
  • An Idea Gallery of award winning images made available to the consumer through
  • now hosts links to and an additional link for consumers to access resources such as the Idea Gallery and ALE project information
  • Model press releases made available to award recipients to market their achievements
  • Plus much more!

Important ALE Dates to Remember:

  • June 21, 2013 – ALE project entry forms and judging criteria information will be available at
  • September 16, 2013 – ALE entry deadline. 

Upon completion of the judging process the ALE participants will be notified of their award status. No late entries will be accepted.

The ALE program is available to both PLNA members and non-members. PLNA members receive a discount for project entries.
