The Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist program promotes and awards competence and knowledge in the Pennsylvania green industry. Individuals who achieve this designation demonstrate a commitment to professionalism by maintaining their certification through continuing education. Sponsorship of the PCH program helps PLNA recognize and raise the standards of the industry.

The Sustainable Landscapes Certification (SLC) program promotes and awards competence and knowledge in sustainable landscape practices. Sustainable landscaping practices are being viewed as the solution to real environmental problems. Private sector programs such as the Sustainable Landscape SITESTM program and the Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED) are creating demand for professionals and companies with demonstrated expertise and knowledge in the design, installation and maintenance of sustainable landscape systems. Sponsorship of the SLC program helps PLNA further its initiative to be a leader for the environmental benefits of the green industry in Pennsylvania.

OutdoorLivingPA.com is a website that educates consumers about finding a green industry professional or retail garden center that can best meet their needs. Consumers learn what questions to ask and what credentials are important in searching for the landscape contractor or retail garden center to assist them with their project. Sponsorship of OutdoorLivingPA.com promotes your company's support of excellence and quality in products and services provided to the public by the green industry.

PLNA works to ensure the laws and regulations by which green industry professionals must abide by are reasonable, equitable and not burdensome to your business. We strive to communicate and provide our members with the information they need on government issues and compliance in a timely fashion. Sponsorship of the Government Relations program assists PLNA in maintaining a presence with the decision makers in the nation's capital, in the halls of Pennsylvania's legislature, throughout the offices of state agencies and beyond.
