This short 2 hour course sponsored by Pennsylvania Concrete Masonry Association is a practical, hands-on presentation to develop knowledge of and responsibilities toward silica exposure. The course develops the competent person's ability to assess their workplace for silica hazards.  Attendees will create a basic exposure control plan including requirements for employee training and medial surveillance.

Bring your draft Exposure Control Plans and we will share compliance ideas and get answers on the plan components from our OSHA Consutation Service Expert.

Presenter - Bryan Seal - MS, CIH, SCP, CHMM, REHS is the industrial hygiene supervisor for the PA OSHA consultation Program from the Indiana University of PA. Bryan has more than 25 years of experience in the Health and Safety profession  He has also worked for OSHA as an Area Director and at the National Offi e in Washington, DC in both the Standards and the Enforcement Directorates.
