This one-day bus tour will demonstrate best management practices and ideas on how to manage stormwater through the use of cost-effective, green infrastructure. The tour will visit small to large scale installations that manage stormwater using low impact sustainable systems, helping to alleviate combined sewer overflows and non-point pollution that impacts our waterways. Participants will get to see practices such as residential rain gardens, commercial parking lot retrofits, bioswales, green roofs, rainwater capture & reuse systems, and institutional green infrastructure located throughout Lackawanna County.
