Women in Horticulture Annual Lecture: The Life and Gardens of BEATRIX FARRAND
Wednesday, March 14, 7 p.m., Learning Center Auditorium

Join six-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and Yale Fellow Karyl Evans for a screening of her documentary The Life and Gardens of BEATRIX FERRAND, chronicling the life story of the most successful female landscape architect in early 20th Century America and one of the founders of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Beatrix Farrand has a special connection to the Ambler Campus. The Ambler Arboretum Formal Gardens were designed by Farrand and James Bush-Brown.
