PLNA membership provides value to both company members and student members by connecting them with each other. Your association is finding ways to unite the talent of the students with the opportunities of member companies through our online resources such as the online membership directory including over 400 companies and their employees, the online career center with the PLNA job board, PLNA e-News providing up-to-date information on industry happenings, career fairs and much more.

Our most recent road trip was to the Pennsylvania College of Technology - Earth Science Center Career Fair where we visited with many students informing them of the benefits PLNA has to offer them. We are excited to announce that 18 students joined PLNA as a result of that visit! While speaking with them we learned that they are very interested in the PLNA Job Board features and staying connected with industry and member news through the PLNA e-News.

All PLNA members should take advantage of the PLNA Job Board! Student members can post their resumes and subscribe to an alert feature notifying them through email when a new job opening is posted through the PLNA job board. Company members can post job openings as well as search students’ resumes for prospective hires. All of these services are provided as a member benefit with no additional fees!

Along with the many benefits companies receive as a member of PLNA, membership also represents professionalism amongst the green industry giving companies a competitive edge by being a member of a professional organization. Students graduating with a major in a green industry career are looking for work with professional companies. PLNA will continue to find ways to unite these talented students with job opportunities provided by PLNA members.
