Record-shattering snowfalls couldn’t stop the hardy and winter-tested souls of northwestern Pennsylvania’s green industry participants from gathering to celebrate the holidays at Ricardo’s restaurant in Erie, where Fairview Evergreen Nurseries hosted a PLNA MeetUp dinner for northwestern Pennsylvania nursery, garden center, and landscape firm owners on December 28th.

The dinner, a decades long annual tradition, was another success as an enthusiastic group of more than thirty joined together to renew friendships and celebrate a successful year in 2017. Owners, employees, and family members from several local green industry businesses including Johnston’s Nursery, Dahlkemper Landscape, Locust Grove Nursery, Potratz Floral Shop & Greenhouses, Hayes Tree Farm and Lauger’s Good Lawn were in attendance to enjoy the festivities. PLNA board and government relations committee members also took a moment to speak to the group about the important work PLNA is doing on behalf of its members.

This PLNA MeetUp is held annually during the holiday season; if you’d like to join the fun at 2018’s event simply contact the PLNA office or Fairview Evergreen Nurseries to get on our event contact list. We hope to see you in December!
