National Association of Landscape Professionals

Credible national data does not exist on compensation and benefits for the landscape industry.

Information currently available in the US misrepresents earning potential within our industry, and we need your data in order to dispel the myth that individuals cannot earn a decent living by owning or working for a landscape company.

Help us gather credible, comprehensive compensation data for our industry. Let's show that we offer competitive salaries. Let's break down one of the barriers in recruiting individuals to the landscape profession.

Get a free company-specific compensation report

By taking the survey, and providing your company compensation data, you will receive a free company-specific compensation report, Excel data tables, searchable results application and an interactive infographic (a $500 value).

What is it exactly? And is this safe?

1. It's a NALP branded National Report

The final NALP branded National Report is presented in a professional, user-friendly format, complete with summary explanations, descriptions, how-to-use guidelines, graphs and interpretive information.

2. Company-specific Compensation Reports (CCRs)

These are confidential, individualized reports of a participant’s own compensation and benefit information shown alongside the appropriate comparatives (i.e., market focus, revenue size, region, etc.). The information contained in these reports provides participants with a useful managerial tool for identifying compensation levels that may be too high or too low as well as the strength of their benefit packages.

3. Excel Data Tables

We also provide detailed Excel data tables containing all of the data aggregates, including state-specific data breaks.

4. Searchable Results Application

This is the coolest part: an online tool which allows users to filter the complete data set by various combinations of selections, well beyond the level of detail possible for the overall report. For example, users could aggregate their data by multiple levels (e.g., respondents by a specific geographic region with a certain revenue size and in a specific market focus).

5. Interactive Infographic

You'll also get an online, interactive, “infographic” page which gives respondents an attractive, easy-to-digest printout of the survey’s most important and interesting results.

6. It's SAFE Your data will be treated in the strictest confidence by Industry Insights, Inc., an outside, third party firm that specializes in such studies. Industry Insights implements reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards (e.g., passcodes, encryption, etc.) to protect company-specific information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure. For more details on privacy and security, see our full privacy policy.
