PLNA Hall of Fame Award

The purpose of the PLNA Hall of Fame Award is to distinguish individuals who have served PLNA, the horticulture industry and their community throughout their lifetime. This award is designed as a tribute to volunteerism in PLNA and outstanding achievements in the horticulture industry. The winner is judged on their promotion of PLNA and the industry, their standard of ethics, and the level of activity within the Association. The PLNA Hall of Fame Award has a strong history in the Association. The first recipient was Albert F. Meehan in 1952.

Nomination Guidelines
The candidate for the PLNA Hall of Fame must have been active in some phase of the nursery, landscape or allied fields for a minimum of 10 years, affiliated with a PLNA member firm for five of those years, and demonstrated great achievements in advancing the green goods industry in Pennsylvania. The candidate should have served the Association on a chapter, committee, or board level at some time during their lifetime and must be recognized as a leader in the industry and helpful in disseminating knowledge to fellow nurserymen.

Only one nomination is accepted from any member firm. The winner will be judged on their promotion of PLNA and the industry, their standard of ethics, and the level of activity within the Association.

The nominees will be reviewed by the Board of Directors.
