Training to Enter the Profession

From time to time, educational institutions provide training for individuals interested in entering the horticulture/landscaping industry.  Courses listed below are focused on basics in horticulture and landscaping to give students the opportunity to gain sufficient knowledge to have an edge when applying for an entry level position in the Green Industry.

Classes will be listed both here and on the PLNA Calendar of Events in the Basic Skills Training Category.

  • Includes 4 weeks of training - Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
  • Students must be at least 18 years of age
  • Students must successfully pass a criminal background check for employment
  • Tuition: $279 (scholarships are available)
